SECURITY SYSTEMS GOALS
The goal of the Security Unit is to provide safe and secure buildings and grounds at all University locations. Working with security design consultants, space planners, landscape architects and project managers, this program identifies security needs for all construction and renovation projects. University Safety and Facilities Operations works with any UConn department to address their security needs.
To achieve this goal, the Unit works in tandem with University Police, Facilities Operations, One Card Office and Fire Marshal and Building Inspectors departments.
