The Waterbury Substation of the University of Connecticut Police Department is located on the ground floor of the UConn Campus Building, situated on East Main Street in the center of the City of Waterbury. Police Officers are responsible for University Safety in the main building as well as an attached parking facility. In addition to normal police patrols there are emergency phones and remote cameras throughout the facility which assist police in providing a safe atmosphere within which students, staff, faculty and visitors may pursue their educational goals. Officers patrol the campus in marked police vehicles as well as on bikes and assist the public with vehicle unlocks and escorts.

The Waterbury substation is manned by UConn Police Officers Monday-Friday, 7:00am-11:00pm.


PARKING


Parking for Waterbury UConn Staff, Faculty, Students, and Visitors is located at 55 North Elm Street, Waterbury, Connecticut. The lower level is for Staff and Faculty, and the upper two levels are for Students and Visitors. There is also an overflow parking garage located at 33 Scovill Street, Waterbury, Connecticut. Students, Staff, and Faculty can obtain parking passes by going to the UConn Parking Services (park.uconn.edu). Visitors can obtain parking passes from the Bursar’s Office located on the second floor of the UConn Campus located at 99 East Main Street, Waterbury, Connecticut.


FINGERPRINTING


The UConn Police does not provide Fingerprinting services at this campus location.
